Complete Language Translation Files

A complete language translation file is an ASCII text file created by the Dump Language utility (dmplang). It contains all translated phrases, column phrases, titles, messages, values and Help text for applications and the Environment.

Dump Language Utility

The Dump Language utility (dmplang) creates a file that you can save, and enables you to move translations from one computer to another if the product lines are on the same application release. (They can be on different cyclical releases--for example, 10.0.1 and 10.0.2--but one cannot be on 9.0 and the other on 10.0).

Load Language Utility

The Load Language utility (ldlang) loads language translation records from a dump file created by dmplang into the Environment.
