Creating a Foreign Language TranMap

After adding new translations or changing existing translations, create a foreign TranMap using genformap.

Note: To save processing time for users at runtime, you can also run genformap in batch mode after creating your language translations.

To create a foreign language TranMap

At the command line, type:

genformap [-s] language productline [systemcode] [programcode...]

The following table describes the parameters that you can use with this utility.


Program Option	Description
`s`	Silent mode (does not list the forms as they are processed).


Field	Description
`language`	Language into which to translate your forms.
`productline`	Product line to translate on your forms.
`systemcode`	System code to translate on your forms.
`programcode`	Program codes to translate on your forms. Leave this field blank to translate data from all program codes in the product line and system code.
