Configuring multiple endpoints for external and internal web servers
With Service Pack 2, Infor Lawson System Foundation supports multiple endpoints, that is, multiple web servers communicating with a single application server. Infor Lawson customers can configure endpoints in a variety ways. This topic describes configuration for a system that can be accessed via the Internet. For example, you might want to dedicate one endpoint to internal users and another endpoint, possibly outside the firewall, for external users. Typically, in this situation, external and internal web servers would run applications and retrieve data from the same application server, but all communication with an external web servers would be through a different port than one for an internal web servers.
You use Infor Lawson's ssoconfig utility to configure multiple endpoints. The instructions that follow are divided into several short procedures.
