To configure WebSphere for application response measurement

  1. In the WebSphere Administrative Console, select Request Metrics in the Monitoring and Tuning section.
  2. Consider the following fields:
    Trace level

    Select HOPS.

    Request Metrics Destination

    Select Application Response Measurement (ARM) agent

    Agent Type

    Select ARM4

    ARM transaction factory implementation class name

    Type in the name provided by your third-party application response measurement tool vendor.

  3. Apply and save your changes.
