Starting the Lawson system

  1. If your database and LDAP server are not currently running, start them in this order before you start Lawson:

    Database

    LDAP

  2. Start the Lawson servers. At the command line, specify this information:

    startlaw

  3. Restart the WebSphere application server. Use the instructions provided with your application server to start the server you configured to run Lawson. The person who starts the application server must be a member of the group for Lawson.
    Note: The web server must be running in order for the Lawson system to run, but you do not need to start it before you start the Lawson system.
