Batch Jobs Governor: Overview

Batch Jobs Governor is a tool for managing long-running jobs. When configured, it sends email notifications and/or ends jobs that are taking longer to complete than the expected timeframe.

Batch Jobs Governor is disabled by default. You enable it by updating values in lajs.cfg for the properties you want to use.

Batch Jobs Governor can be used in conjunction with the calcjobs utility. The Perl script shows historical data about job run times by token, by job, or by date.
