Submitting Multiple Jobs
Use this procedure as a convenient way to define the job submission parameters for up to 50 batch jobs and then submit the jobs together.
To submit multiple jobs

In a Lawson Interface Desktop
(LID) session, on the Batch Job Control menu, choose Job Submission.

At the command line, type
jbsubmit

On the Multiple Job Submission form, type or select
the following information:
- User Name

The user whose jobs you want to submit at the same time (security permitting).
If you submit another user's jobs, the jobs display in the Print Manager under that user's name.
- Job Name

The job you want to submit.
The job owner must be the user in the User Name field.
- Queue

The job queue you want the job to run on.
If you do not assign a job queue, the default job queue is assigned.
- Start Date

The date you want the job to run.
If you do not assign a start date, the job is submitted on the current date.
- Start Time

The time you want the job to run, in 24-hour time.
If you do not assign a start time, the job is submitted on a first-come, first-serve basis.
