Delete a job queue group

  1. Access the Job Queue Group Definition utility (jobqgrpdef):
    1. In a Lawson Interface Desktop (LID) session, use Form Transfer (F8).
    2. In the Form ID field on the Form Transfer form, type jobqgrpdef and click the OK button or press Enter.
    • From the System Administration menu, select Environment Group Utilities and then Job Queue Group Definition.

    • From the command line, type:

      jobqgrpdef

  2. In the header area of the Job Queue Group Definition form, select the job queue group to delete.
  3. Press Delete (F9). The following options occur:
    • If the Job Queue Group is assigned to a user at the time that it is being deleted, jobqgrpdef displays a subform requesting a replacement job queue group. You can choose not to assign a replacement. If you do not choose a replacement, the system removes the job queue group from the user's user profile.

    • If you use Mark and Bound to delete a number of job queue groups, you will be prompted to assign a replacement job queue group for each deleted job queue group that is in use.

  4. Press Enter twice.
