Install updates

  1. Use the guidelines in Guidelines for Updating to determine where updates should be installed. You do not need to install anything on secondary servers. All updates will be installed from the master server or on the web server(s).
  2. Use the instructions in each product's installation guide to install updates.

    • Check patch readme files or service pack release notes for information on dependencies and any special pre- or post-installation instructions.

    • Complete all post-installation procedures for each product. If you need to re-deploy web applications in WebSphere, use the instructions in Deploy Web Applications to the Cluster.
