What is a Profile Call?

Profile calls retrieve the following information:

• User attributes from Resource Management (RM) and GEN

• Bookmarks from LOGAN for Portal navigation

• Phrases for Lawson Portal messages, translated if necessary

• File with user’s shortcuts, Lawson Portal layout, and bookmarks (referenced here as USER file)

• File with Lawson Portal menu options and the user’s homepage (referenced here as ROLE file)

• User-specific tasks from Process Server, depending on user settings and presence of Process Server
