Accessing Application Development Workbench Tools

Depending upon your configuration of the Lawson Software development tools, you access one of menus from the command line.

To access the Application Development Workbench menu

  1. (ADW) At the command line, type lapm latools
  2. (4GL) At the command line, type lapm larw

Security Considerations

If developers are working in environments where Lawson Security is on (such as when using the Quick Paint feature in a production environment in order to make ad-hoc inquiry or update programs), the developers must be granted the appropriate access through Lawson Security.
