To make key fields descending or ascending

  1. Select the key field in the Key Fields subform.
  2. Press Define (F6).
  3. Select Descending Key. The system displays a down arrow beside the key field.

    - or -

    Select Ascending Key. The down arrow next to the key field disappears.

  4. Press Enter twice to save the index.

    Changing the order of the key fields in the Key Fields subform is similar to moving text in a text window.
