Changing the Format of a Form
You can change some aspects of the format of a form, such as whether it displays as a form or a window, whether the title displayed is the form title or the program title, and whether another program can transfer to it. For windows, you can also choose where to display the window on the terminal screen.
To change the format of a form

On the Format form, press Define
(F6) and choose Form.
In this field Type or Select (F4) Form Type Form to save the form as a form. The default is Form.
Window to save the form as a window.
Note: If you select Window, the First Column and Top Row fields specify where you want the window to display. If you select Form, the First Column and Top Row fields are ignored.Use Title Yes to save the form or window with the form title defined in Form Definition.
No to save the form or window with the title defined in Program Definition. The default is No.
Form Transfer Yes to enable form transfer to this form or window. The default is Yes.
No to disable form transfer to this form or window.
Top Row This field works with the First Column field.
The default is Centered.
Centered to display the top row in the center of the terminal screen.
Top to display the top row at the top of the screen.
Bottom to display the top row on the last row of the terminal screen that can allow the entire window to display.
Row to display the top row at the number you choose:
Press the down arrow and type a row number.
First Column This field works with the Top Row field.
Centered to display the first column in the center of the terminal screen. The default is Centered.
Left to display the first column on the left of the terminal screen.
Right to display the first column in the farthest column on the right that can allow the entire window to display.
Column to display the first column at the column number you choose.
Press the down arrow and type a column number.
- Press OK to save the format of the form.
- Press OK twice to save the form.
