Defining Values

Use this procedure to define the possible values for a field.

To define values

  1. On the File Definition form, select the field you want to define a value or a translation for.
  2. Press Define (F6) and choose Value List.
  3. In the Enter Values Or Ranges subform, type the values or translations.

    Value for the field. Up to 99 values and translations can be listed.

    You can also press Define (F6) and then select Range in order to set up a range of values.

    Note: Do not select Null as a value option. This option is not supported.
  4. Press Enter to save the values.
  5. Press Enter twice to save the file.
