Parameter Field Types

A parameter field is a field you type a value in when you run a report program. The program uses the value you type in the parameter field to process the report.

For example, Company is defined as a parameter for a report. If you type "1" in the Company parameter field, the program processes records that belong to Company "1". If you type 12 in the Company parameter field, the program processes records that belong to Company 12.
