Defining a Standard Header

To define a standard report header, the Standard Header option in the Report Options window must be Yes. For more information, see Defining Report Options. When the Standard Header option is Yes, the first report format window on the Report Format form is the Standard Header Format window.

To define a standard header

  1. On the Report Format form, put the cursor in the Standard Header Format window, press Field (F3), and choose from the following options.
    Choose To
    Date Paint the current date.
    Time Paint the current time.
    Page Paint the page number.
    Parameter Select an existing defined parameter field for display in a report format. For instructions, see Defining a Parameter Field.
  2. Press OK twice.
