Updating Bouncy Castle
This table shows how to determine whether the required update procedure is necessary to
remove superseded versions of Bouncy Castle JAR files.
Current LSF Release | LSF version you are updating to | Minimum required Java version | Bouncy Castle JAR file version |
---|---|---|---|
LSF 10.0.11 CU15 or earlier | LSF 10.0.11 CU16 |
WAS FP23 with minimum IBM WAS JDK 1.8_331. System Java: JDK version 1.8.0_331. Note: Skip this if you are using Amazon Corretto.
|
The update itself delivers this Bouncy Castle JAR file: bcprov-jdk18on-1.78.jar. Note: This requires new security JAR files and new
xmltooling.jar is included in the update itself.
|
LSF 10.0.11 CU13 or earlier | LSF 10.0.11 CU14 or CU15 |
WAS FP23 with minimum IBM WAS JDK 1.8_331. |
The update itself delivers this Bouncy Castle JAR file: bcprov-jdk18on-1.76.jar. Note: The security JAR file and
xmltooling.jar is included in the update itself.
|
LSF 10.0.11 CU5 or earlier | LSF 10.0.11 CU6 to CU13 | No minimum version required. |
The update itself delivers this Bouncy Castle JAR file: bcprov-jdk15on-158.jar. Note: The security JAR file and xmltooling.jar is included
in the update itself.
|
Note: Starting with Infor Lawson System Foundation 10.0.11 CU14, if you
have the optional IBM WebSphere Java 1.8 installed, you must rename its directory
(WAS_HOME\java_1.8_64). Before renaming the directory, ensure it is
not the default Java version for any WebSphere profiles, nodes, or application
servers.
The Bouncy Castle provider JAR is not backwards compatible. To revert to an earlier CU, the new Bouncy Castle JAR must be uninstalled first.
