Configuring WebSphere 8.5.5 with Java 1.8

If you are using WebSphere 8.5.5 Fix Pack 14 or lower, you will need to leave the Deployment Manager used by the LSF system configured to use IBM Java 1.7.

You can run managesdk to switch your LSF application profile(s) to 1.8, but you cannot switch the Deployment Manager profile to 1.8 until you upgrade to WASND 8.5.5.15 or later.

Note: If Infor Lawson System Foundation is already installed, you will need to uninstall the IOS application and delete all associated physical files before configuring WebSphere 8.5.5 with Java 1.8.
