Prerequisites

Before you update the LDAP Bind service, these tasks must be performed:

• The SSL certificate must be installed. The KB article 2048416 provides step-by-step instructions for installing certificates.
• Decide if you use standard SSL (636) or the Global Catalog Port (3269). Infor recommends that you use Global Catalog when the LDAP Servers support it.
