Preparing for Updating the Infor System Console

Before you run the installation/update programs for Infor System Console server-side component and user interface component, you must perform the following tasks:

• The Derby database is deprecated and not supported for Infor System Console, you must migrate to a supported RDBMS. Before you begin the migration, ensure that you meet the requirements in Use of an RDBMS with the Infor System Console.
• Download updated installation files.
• Log in to your system.
• Set the environment variables.
• If you previously were running Infor System Console 10.0.1.0 or lower, uninstall the lsmm.ear file.
• Stop the application server for the Infor System Console.
