Add security roles and classes for the Infor System Console and the Infor Lawson System Mobile Monitor

There are two security classes that are delivered with the Infor System Console and the Infor Lawson System Mobile Monitor, S3MobileITAdmin and the S3MobileSysAdmin. During installation, the S3MobileITAdmin class is assigned to the S3MobileMonitorITAdmin role and the S3MobileSysAdmin class is assigned to the S3MobileMonitorSysAdmin role in the ENV profile. If these security classes do not exist on your system after the installation of the server-side component for Infor System Console and the Infor Lawson System Mobile Monitor, or if the security classes do not contain the rules listed below, use this procedure to set up the security classes.

  1. From the command line, run the following command twice, once for lsmmsysadmin.xml and once for lsmmit.xml (If you receive a message saying the security classes already exist, use the -o option at the end of the command to overwrite the existing classes):

    lsload ROLE %GENDIR% \install\ filename

where filename is either lsmmsysadmin.xml or lsmmit.xml.

  2. Login to the Lawson Security Administrator tool.
  3. Click the Profiles from the Profile Management panel and select the ENV profile.
  4. Click the S3MobileITAdmin security class and confirm that the following access rules exist. Add them if necessary under the System Administration category:

If the form ID does not exist, use the Form ID Definition utility (tokendef) to add it. See Adding Form ID Definitions for the Infor System Console and the Infor Lawson System Mobile Monitor.
