Viewing and configuring Components

You can use the ISC System menu to view and modify configuration parameters. Changes you make will appear in the following files in LAWDIR/system:

IOS

Infor Lawson servlets

iosconfig.xml
UNIV

Infor Lawson Environment components

univ.cfg

RPT

Infor Lawson components related to jobs and reports

rpt.cfg

UI

User interface related components

ui.cfg

  1. From the ISC navigation bar, select System > Components.
  2. Click the Drill Down icon to the left of the name of the component you want to view, for example, IOS. The environment name and server name where the component is running display at the top of the page
  3. Click the Configuration Parameters tab to make updates to configuration parameters for the component. If you make changes, click Save at the bottom of the page. You can also click Reset to return any changes you were in progress with back to their previous settings. Information about the parameters is available in the LSF documentation suite. Review Server Setup and Maintenance and the administration guide for the database you use.
  4. If the component generates log files, you can click the Logs tab to view the logs.
