Creating the role

  1. Sign in to the IFS application by using the IFS application administrator account.
  2. From the toolbar menu, select Manage > Master Data.
  3. On the Master Data page, select and double-click Security Role.
  4. On the Security Role panel, click New.
  5. In the right panel, type the Node name and Description.

    For the Node name field, you can assign any name. It is a good idea to choose a name that makes its purpose clear. For example, you might want to use "InforLawson" for the new role.

    The Description field is optional. You can use it to add details about the role.

  6. Click Submit.
  7. Repeat the steps above for each plugin you are installing.
