Create a new self-signed certificate for Infor OS or Infor Local Technology Runtime as STS

  1. Run the secadm utility.

    From a command window on the Lawson System Foundation server, specify

    ssoconfig -m

    If you are prompted for a password, type it.

  2. From the main menu of ssoconfig, select Manage WS Federation Settings.
  3. From the sub-menu, select Manage WS Federation Certificate.
  4. From the next sub-menu, select Create certificate for WS Federation.

    This action creates the new certificate and stores it in the repository.

  5. After the certificate is successfully created, select Export WS Federation Certificate.
  6. Specify the file path where the certificate is to be stored and create and a name to the end of the file path ending in .cer For example, c:\certs\sts.cer
  7. This certificate must be on your Infor OS or Infor Local Technology Runtime as STS system, the location where Infor OS or Infor Local Technology Runtime is hosted. Use your preferred tool to do this.
