Install a Grid Router for the Session Provider

Infor recommends that you install a new Grid router before you install DSP for products, including some versions of ISO and IES, that do not use LCM. This ensures that the ports that DSP needs are already available.

The Default router should be kept in place with Basic Authentication enabled on the https port.

  1. In the Configuration Manager, select Communication > Routers > Add Router.
  2. For Router Name, specify "DSSO Router."
  3. Select the host on which to install the router.
  4. Specify the external FQDN for the router. Both the Lawson security server and the clients must be able to resolve and reach the specified FQDN. Specify the FQDN as the "router.fqdn" in the installation properties file. (You will need to provide this property in the next procedure.)
  5. Specify the HTTP port for the router.
  6. In the "WWW Authentication Methods" for HTTP, clear all check boxes and select the saml2 check box.
  7. Specify the HTTPS port for the new router. Specify the HTTPS port as the "router.https.port" in the installation properties file.
  8. In the "WWW Authentication Methods" for HTTPS, clear all check boxes and select the saml2 check box.
  9. Click Create and then click Save
