Install Infor Security Services

  1. On the Installation Packages window, select Infor Security Services. Choose Next.
  2. When you install this product for the first time, select Create a new Infor Security Services System Foundation.
  3. Type a name for the new instance. Lawson recommends that you use an instance name that associates the LSS instance with the Environment instance you are installing into.

  4. On the Configuring Infor Security Services window, provide the following information:
    The directory for the Infor Security Services programs (GENDIR)

    This value defaults to the GENDIR for your Lawson System Foundation environment. Accept the default.

    The directory for the Infor Security Services data and configuration (LAWDIR)

    This value defaults to the LAWDIR for your Lawson System Foundation environment. Accept the default.

    The standard port for the Security server

    Type the http port number for the LASE server in your Lawson System Foundation environment.

    The secure port for the Security server

    Type the https port number for the LASE server in your Lawson System Foundation environment.

    The directory for the required Java version

    This value defaults to the JAVA_HOME defined on the machine.

    The document root directory

    If the web server is on the local machine, type the name of your document root directory.

    If the web server is on a remote machine, make a temporary "WEBDIR" directory on the LSF server where the application server is installed, such as LAWDIR/persistdata/lawson/iss_web. (Do the install using the temporary "WEBDIR" for document root field that appears on the screen.) After the installation is finished, copy the file(s) that were created in your temporary "WEBDIR" to the remote web server’s document root directory.

    Click Next.

  5. Verify the information on the summary screen.

    • To correct values, click Previous.

    • To start the installation, click Next.

  6. When the installation is complete, click Finish.
