View currently active sessions

  1. From the dashboard, select Monitoring > Active Sessions. The IDs of currently active users appear on the left pane.
  2. By default, all currently active users appear. You can use the Username field to locate a specific user.

The Details section of the page shows the following information about the user:

    • Session ID number: Unique number assigned to a session

    • IP address: Of the computer that is running the session. Depending on the network setup, the IP address displayed may be that of a proxy or an External Load Balancer (ELB).

    • Client Type: Typically, this is the application being run in the session, for example, the browser.

    • Start Time: The time the session began

    • Last Update: Most recent transaction performed by the user

The Services/Forms section of the page lists the name of a forms upon which a user performed an Inquire, Add, Change or Delete action.

Note: If a user accesses a form but does not complete any action, including an Inquire, the form name does not appear in Services/Forms.
  3. You can adjust the page refresh options by changing the currently selected number of seconds from the dropdown list or by specifying your preferred number of seconds or minutes. Choose Never if you do not want the current view to refresh unless you refresh it manually using the Refresh icon. In this case a session will show until the user performs a proper logout or the session expires.
