Running the Pre-Sync Data Check for Identity Data and Fixing Errors

The Data Check for Identity data identifies errors that exist so you determine whether you must fix them yourself or if they can addressed through the Fix Identity Data feature.

  1. From the LSF server, run the ssoconfig utility. Type

    ssoconfig -c

    Provide the ssoconfig utility password if prompted.

  2. From the main menu, select Manage Federation.
  3. From the submenu that appears, select Perform Pre-Sync Data Check.
  4. At the prompt for Actor or Identity Check, select "2" for Identity data.
  5. Review the output. Determine if any errors can be corrected using the Check and Fix Identity Data feature.
  6. If errors exist that can be corrected using the Check and Fix Identity Data feature, perform the following steps.
    1. From the main menu of ssoconfig, select Manage Federation.
    2. From the sub-menu that appears, select Perform Pre-Sync Data Check.
    3. From the sub-menu that appears, select Check and Fix Identity Data.
    4. Depending on the type of fixes that were made, perform any manual updates as needed.
  7. If any errors exist that must be corrected manually, correct them. It is a good idea to run the Pre-Sync Data Check again to make sure that you have corrected all of these types of errors.
