To create an empty database space

  1. At a command prompt, type:

    dbdef

  2. Select the product line and then select Define or press F6.
  3. At the Define form, select E (Database Space).
  4. Type a name such as "Empty" for the new Database Space.
  5. Tab to Type and press F4.
  6. Select Empty.
  7. Select OK to complete the change.
