This procedure describes how to enable a connect string with Oracle.
To enable a connect string
Verify that the connect strings are defined in the Oracle tnsnames.ora
file and that the appropriate entries are made in the Oracle listener.ora
and init.ora files.
Edit the Lawson ORACLE database driver configuration file
with a text editor and add the required environment variables. This file is
located in the $LAWDIR/dataarea/ORACLE directory.
Note: Lawson recommends opening the driver configuration file with
a text editor other than Notepad, as it may place unprintable characters in
the configuration file.
