Recovering the password via e-mail

  1. Run the ssoconfig utility. From a command prompt, specify

    ssoconfig —r

This sends an e-mail to the account that you specified when you configured ssoconfig at installation time (or at a later time).

  2. Check your e-mail account for the password, which appears as the only content of the body of the message.
  3. Run ssoconfig again using a different syntax. Specify

    ssoconfig —p CODE

where CODE is the content of the e-mail message

Specify the code exactly as it appears in the e-mail message. If you specify the command correctly, you will set a new password. If you make a mistake specifying the code you will receive the message, "You are not authorized to change password" and ssoconfig will terminate.
