Changing the Single Sign-on Timeout Parameter for the System

The Lawson-delivered value for session timeout is 60 minutes. You can use the ssoconfig utility to change this value at any time.

The ssoconfig command line utility is password-protected. Before you run the utility, make sure you know the password.

To change the SSO timeout parameter

  1. From a command line in the Lawson Environment, type

    ssoconfig —c

  2. At the prompt, type the ssoconfig password. (It might take a few seconds for the prompt to appear.)
  3. At the next prompt, select "1" to Change Single Sign-on Server settings.
  4. At the prompt to "Choose the protocol for use to connect to the Lawson authentication service," do not make any changes. Type the number that corresponds to your existing setting (either SSL or TCPIP).
  5. At the prompt for "Enter the service to use to sign on (SSOP)," press Enter to bypass the prompt. Do not make any changes here.
  6. At the next prompt, enter a timeout value in minutes.
