Create an application profile

If you have already created the profile that you want to install the role templates into, you can skip this part of the procedure and continue with the installation.

This procedure must be performed by a security administrator.

  1. From the Lawson Security Administrator main screen, click Profile Management.

    The Profile selection screen with a list of available profiles appears.

  2. Click Add.

  3. Type or make selections for the following:
    • Profile ID: Type a three-character ID

    • Profile Name: A textual name for the profile

    • Description: Optional, a longer, text description of the profile

    • System Type: Select ERP

    • Definition Data Source: Select an application product line (or data area) from the list. Typically, this will be a test product line / data area.

  4. Click Add when you are finished making assignments.

    The message, "Profile has been added," appears.
