To write a rule using groups for the global default level

  1. On the Profiles form, click on a profile and then click Select Profile.
  2. From the Profile Management options set, select Element Groups. (If you have not already selected a profile to work in, you will be prompted to do so.)
  3. Click Default Rules.
  4. Select the element group you want to write a rule for.
  5. Set the access level. (These rules apply only if the user does not already have a specific security class rule for the element group.)
    • Select Grant All Access to allow users to have access to all company and process level data on forms.

    • Select Deny Any Access to prevent users from viewing any company and process level data on forms.

    • Select Unconditional Access for Action and then select the actions if you want users to have access to all company and process level data on forms but only for some form actions.

    • Select Conditional Rule Access and then write the conditional rule if you want to set up specific conditions for users. For example, for the PROCLEVEL element group, you can write a rule that allows access if the company number is 1 and the process level is Grove Hospital or Grove Clinic.

  6. Click Apply.
