Turning security checking on and off

This procedure describes how to turn security checking on and off.

Note: You can also turn security on and off through the command line (Unix/Windows) or QShell (IBMi) using the lsconfig utility with the -c option. Lawson Security Configuration Utility (lsconfig)
  1. From the Lawson Security Administrator, select Server Management and then select Servers.
  2. Select the data source for which you want to turn security on or off. If you are changing security checking for all data sources, select DEFAULT.
  3. Click the Security Checking tab.

  4. To turn security checking on, click On.

    To turn security checking off, click Off and then select Allow No Access or Allow All Access.

  5. Click Apply.
