Brownsville operation

The Brownsville plant organization, described in the subsections that follow, is simpler than the Biloxi organization.

Office of the Vice President for Brownsville Operations

The Vice President for Brownsville Operations has the following direct reports:

  • Office Administrator

  • Production Manager

Office Administrator

The Office Administrator oversees the following functional areas and personnel:

  • Executive Secretary and Receptionist

  • Human and Resources and Payroll: This work is handled by two recruiters/HR generalists and one HR/PR processor.

  • Invoice paying

    Two clerks are responsible for accounts payable. They verify that materials shipped directly to the Brownsville plant are received and paid for.

Production Manager

The Production Manager is responsible for the following functional areas:

  • Overall assembly operations: Three shift supervisors assist with this work. Approximately 90 assembly workers report to these supervisors.

  • Purchasing: Two purchasing agents report to the Production Manager

  • Shipping: A staff of three manages shipping of all product out of the Brownsville plant.
