Identify delivered roles

Louis worked with his Infor Lawson technical consultants to determine if EZShed could make use of Infor Lawson-delivered roles. He found that the following delivered roles met his needs:

• BatchRole: A role that provides access to data and utilities that batch users need. At EZShed, the power users, Jan and Fred, need this role. (As an administrator, Louis also needs the ability to access batch utilities and data but he gains access to these things through the administrator roles.)

• SuperAdminRole: A role that grants access to all data and tools that security administrators need. It includes access to the Infor Lawson Security Administrator and Resource Management Administrator desktop tools as well as wide open access to Infor Lawson Environment utilities and data.

  Louis assigned this role to himself.

• PortalBookmarkAdminRole: This role gives access to LOGAN product line data that anyone who accesses Lawson Portal needs.
