Preparing a form for users to access

This section assumes your users are accessing custom forms from the Lawson application menu. In other words, the form customization you make replaces the Lawson form. However, there are other ways for users to access forms. See "Other Ways for Users to Access Custom Forms".

Typically, when you create custom forms, you work from a local site and do not save your in-progress customizations to a production server. When you are ready for users to begin working with a form you have created, you most likely have to move the form to the production server and change the default data area.

When you are ready for users to begin working with your new form, you must change the default form. This is done through the "Default Presentation" property that is available from the Edit Menu, Document Properties or through the form object. See "Form Object Custom Options".
