Toolbox objects

Both the Form and Custom Page Designers have a toolbox along the left side of the design window. The toolbox contains objects that you add or modify when you create forms and custom pages.

With UI Designer, objects include methods to let users select or add data (radio buttons, text input boxes and so on), ways to add visual impact to a form, and many other things.

With Custom Page Designer, many of the available objects are related to retrieving data, rearranging menus, and allowing users to navigate to URLs from a custom page.

The Custom Page Designer design window has two toolboxes, Lawson and General. The Lawson toolbox is for adding Lawson objects, including Lawson menus, reports, and objects for retrieving Lawson data to a custom page. The General toolbox is for adding objects that might not be related to Lawson, including RSS web sites, images, and user-defined menus. If the General menu is not currently active, a button for it appears at the bottom of the toolbox. Click the button to active the General menu. When you are ready to return to the Lawson toolbox, click the Lawson button.
