The Excel Worksheet

To use the Upload Wizard, you start with an Excel worksheet. The worksheet can come from any source:

  • Use existing worksheets that contain data you want to load into Infor Lawson.

  • Create a new worksheet specifically designed to upload Infor Lawson data.

  • Use the Query Wizard to extract data from Infor Lawson into a worksheet, and use that data as the basis for an upload.

You might want to add a column to the far left hand side of the worksheet to identify rows to be uploaded. The Upload Wizard has a feature that checks the left column for entries, and ignores rows where the left column is blank. Use this feature to control which rows are uploaded to Infor Lawson. See "Selecting Rows to be Uploaded".

Starting with the April 2024 release, the users are now able to upload data from multiple worksheets of one Excel workbook into one Infor Lawson form.

Note: Do not specify a space to indicate a blank value.
