Installing Infor Lawson Add-ins

This table serves as a guide on what Add-ins installers must be used based on the Add-ins version, MS Office bitness, and OS Architecture.

*This Add-ins version bases its installers on the MS Office bitness.

*This Add-ins version bases its installers on the OS Architecture.

Before you start, uninstall any existing versions you have of Infor Lawson Add-ins for Microsoft Office. For uninstallation procedure, see Uninstalling Infor Lawson Add-ins.

  1. Close all other applications currently running on the machine where you will install the Infor Lawson Add-ins.
  2. Run the install program you downloaded.

    On Welcome screen, click Next.

  3. Accept the terms on the License Agreement screen, and then click Next.
  4. On Customer Information screen, specify your user name and organization name.

    Select whether this application should be installed for all users, or only for you. Click Next.

  5. On Custom Setup screen, select the wizards you want to install in the default location C:\Program Files\Lawson Software\Office Add-ins.

    • If you do not want to install an add-in, select the icon next to it and choose This feature will not be available.

    • To install the program to a different location, select Change to browse for a different folder.

    Note: If you are installing this version of the Infor Lawson Add-ins over an existing version of the Infor Lawson Add-ins for Microsoft Office - Landmark, and you change the folder where the application is installed, follow the post-installation procedures to reconfigure the Excel add-ins.
  6. Click Next. A message will be displayed, telling you that the InstallShield Wizard is ready.
  7. Click Install. When the installation is complete, click Finish.
