Upgrading Applications and Installing Additional Products

Because 9.0.1 Lawson applications are not supported for a 10.0.x Infor Lawson System Foundation, after you have upgraded to a 10.0.x Environment, you must upgrade your applications. Follow the upgrade instructions for your platform and application release.

To access the Lawson application upgrade documentation, go to the Infor Product Download Center on the Infor Concierge and navigate to Lawson Applications > Lawson Applications - Upgrades. Select Application Upgrade - 9.0.1.3 to 10.0.x - Unix and Windows or Application Upgrade (Skip) - 9.0.0.5 to 10.0.x - Unix and Windows.

If you use additional products in conjunction with Infor Lawson System Foundation, install those now. Carefully check the system requirements for both the Environment and the product you want to install to determine the required version. Note especially the special cases listed below:

• Distributed Single Sign-On (DSSO) and the Distributed Security Package (DSP)

  If you used DSSO in the past, you must now use DSP. For instructions on how to install DSP for your 10.0.x system, see the Distributed Security Package Installation Guide.

• ProcessFlow

  If you used ProcessFlow in the past, you will need to convert to Infor Process Automation. For information on how to convert from ProcessFlow, see the Infor Lawson System Foundation Using Infor Process Automation Configuration Guide.

• If you upgraded the Self-Service applications, be sure to re-run the bookmark load process.
