Toggling Key Style Settings

The Editor has four types of key settings.

Traditional key settings and naming conventions (called PT-style keys in this manual) reflect the keyboards used when Lawson Software products were first developed.

PC-style keys reflect newer PC keyboard layouts and naming conventions.

The lx/led style function keys in the Lawson Core Technology are described in this manual. The cx/ced style function keys option resets the keys to the version of the Editors shipped with the Lawson Environment releases.

To switch between PC- and PT-style key assignments

1. Press Define (F6).

2. Select Keys from the Define menu.

3. Press Reset (F7).

4. Select Special from the Reset menu.

5. Select PC Style Keys or PT Style Keys.

6. Press OK twice.

To switch between lx/led and cx/ced key assignments

1. Press Define (F6).

2. Select Keys from the Define menu.

3. Press Reset (F7).

4. Select Function from the Reset menu.

5. Select lx/led Style Keys or cx/ced Style Keys.

6. Press OK twice.
