Lawson Portal File Structure

This table shows the location and general contents of the Lawson Portal data file structure where administrative and end-user data files are stored on the application server. The assumed installation location is LAWDIRpersistdatalawsonYourLawsonPortaldata.

Location	Folder contents

.../forms	Location for files containing user-customized form (ERP) hotkeys. Naming convention for files: UserID.xml.
.../msgs	Location for messages created at your site, including your custom Welcome message.
.../reports	Location for files containing user-customized ERP reports hotkeys. Naming convention for files: UserID.xml.
.../roles	Role files created at your site through Role Manager. All options updated through Role Manager are stored here. Folder contains XML files saved under the name the administrator used when the role was created.
.../users	Settings that were updated by the user through User Options, including hotkeys. Naming convention for files is: UserID.xml.
