Username Lookup

If you moved from UNIX to Windows, you can use the Username Lookup tool to search for and display usernames in UNIX format. By default, Windows usernames are stored as ten digits, for example: NT00000004. Meanwhile, UNIX-style usernames are stored in a domain name format, for example: domain\john doe.

  2. On the Username Lookup tool, specify the Windows username ID in the search box.
