Running a Phrase Report

The Phrase Report utility (phraserpt) creates a report of phrases and column phrases.

To run a phrase report

  1. Access the Phrase Report utility

    At the command line, type

    lapm phraserpt

    - or -

    phraserpt [-n|t] baselanguage [translation]

  2. On the Report on a Language's Phrases and Translations form or as part of the command syntax, type or select the following:
    Program Option Description
    n Print phrases without translations.
    t Print phrases with translations.
    Field Description
    Base Language Source language. The default is US_ENGLISH.
    Translated Language Translated language; for example, Spanish.
    I/O Options Display the output or redirect it to a file. The default is 2>&1 | lashow, which sends the output to lashow. Type >filename to send output to a file.
  3. Press Enter.

    The program runs and displays a message when it completes.

Example: Phrase Report

The following example shows the output from a report run for U.S. English (source language) and Spanish (translation). The U.S. English phrase "* * Hours Worked Method * *" has no translation.
