Queue utilities

The Queue Control utility (qcontrol) enables you to manage compile jobs. For example, you can delete a job, swap jobs, and change the number of compile jobs that can run at one time.

The Queue Status utility (qstatus) provides information about the Compile Queue Server and individual jobs. The information on the Compile Queue Server includes:

• Status of server (running or not)

• Time and date (current)

• Maximum number of jobs that can be compiled simultaneously

qstatus provides the following information on each job:

• Job number

• Status

• PID

• User who submitted job

• Product line, system code, and program code
