To verify batch job execution

  1. Open the batch parameter form for a batch update or report program. (If you have not compiled a full application product line yet, you can use LO920 in report mode. LO920 is in the LOGAN product line.)
  2. Add and submit a job.
  3. Use the Job Scheduler to verify that the job completed normally and the print file can be viewed.
  4. Use the Form ID Definition utility (tokendef) to define which node the batch update or report program should run on. Specify a node other than the master batch server node.
  5. Submit the job from different nodes. (You can log in to the different machines with Lawson Interface Desktop (LID) sessions.)
  6. Use the Job Scheduler to verify that the job completed normally and the print file can be viewed from the different nodes.
