Infor Lawson Application Server utilities

These utilities help you manage the performance of the Infor Lawson Application Server.

Transaction Manager Monitor Utility

The Transaction Manager Monitor utility (tmmon) lets you oversee live transactions passing through the Infor Lawson Application Server, and view users attached to the Infor Lawson Application Server. tmmon also lets you start and restart programs, and create and delete monitor logs. tmmon also provides information about performance and usage of the Infor Lawson Application Server.

Even when tmmon is not running, the Infor Lawson Application Server continues to gather processing statistics. The Infor Lawson Application Server keeps all of the monitoring information in a block of shared memory that tmmon can access and read.

Transaction Monitor Control Utility

The Transaction Monitor Control (tmcontrol) utility enables you to manage the behavior of the Infor Lawson Application Server. You can use tmcontrol to write information about current transactions to the Infor Lawson Application Server log file (latm.log), restart programs, turn monitoring on and off, and instruct the Infor Lawson Application Server to reread the latm.cfg file, among other functions.

Program Transaction Definition Utility

The Program Transaction Definition utility (pgmtrndef) lets you define for each program within a system code the number of users that one program can support simultaneously (in other words, define the number of connections made to a single Infor Lawson runtime system process).
