Infor Lawson Database Server
The Infor Lawson Database Server (ladb) connects the Infor Lawson runtime system to a Infor Lawson-supported, third-party relational database management system (RDBMS). Upon receiving information from the Infor Lawson runtime system, ladb launches the database driver to retrieve the information from the database.

The Infor Lawson Database contains files necessary to run the Infor Lawson Environment. The ladb.cfg file is the configuration file for the Infor Lawson Database Server.
Relational Database Drivers
If ladb determines that a data request from lacobrts (Infor Lawson runtime system) requires information stored in a RDBMS, it launches the appropriate database driver to manage communication between lacobrts and that RDBMS.
